Terms of Service

The Basics

By using precinctnine.com or placing an order you agree to these terms.

precinctnine.com is run by Precinct Nine, an independent art print store based in Israel. Prints are produced and shipped by our print partner, Printify, and its print facilities.

These terms apply to precinctnine.com and to every order placed through it. By using the site, creating an account or placing an order you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the store.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live (usually 18), or have a parent or guardian place the order for you.

Orders & Payment

Prices are in US dollars, payment is taken at checkout by PayPal or card, and each print is made to order.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Shipping is added at checkout, and any taxes are calculated from your delivery address before you pay. Payment is taken when you place the order — by PayPal or by credit or debit card, both processed by PayPal.

Every print is produced to order after you pay, so an order can only be changed or cancelled before it goes into production — write to us as soon as possible. We may refuse or cancel an order (with a full refund) if an item can’t be produced, a price was listed in error, or the order looks fraudulent.

Shipping & Returns

Production usually takes 2–7 business days; damaged or incorrect prints are replaced or refunded.

Production usually takes 2–7 business days, then the order ships from the print facility closest to you. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Customs duties or import taxes charged in your country, if any, are your responsibility.

Because every print is made to order we don’t accept returns for a change of mind, but we replace or refund prints that arrive damaged, misprinted or wrong. The full rules are in our Shipping & Returns policy.

Artwork & Copyright

All artwork belongs to Precinct Nine; buying a print doesn’t transfer the rights to it.

All artwork, illustrations, texts, logos and designs on this site belong to Precinct Nine. Buying a print gives you the physical print for personal use — it doesn’t transfer copyright or any right to reproduce, resell copies of, or commercially use the artwork.

Colors can look slightly different on screen than in print, and the crop can vary by a few millimetres between sizes and materials. That’s normal for printed art and isn’t a defect.

Your Account

Keep your sign-in details safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account.

An account is optional — you can also check out as a guest. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and your details up to date; you’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability & Contact

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order; questions go to hello@precinctnine.com.

We do our best to keep the store accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Precinct Nine’s liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.

We may update these terms; the version published here on the day you order is the one that applies to that order. Questions? Write to hello@precinctnine.com or use the Contact page.
