Privacy Policy

We use your information to:

• produce, pack and ship your order, and keep you updated about it;
• run your account — sign-in, order history, saved addresses and wishlist;
• answer your questions and resolve problems with an order;
• prevent fraud and keep the store secure;
• meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send news and offers if you ticked the box at checkout or signed up yourself, and every such email has an unsubscribe link. We don’t sell your personal data — to anyone.

Precinct Nine prints on demand, so two partners are involved in every order:

• Printify and the print facility it assigns receive your name, shipping address, phone number (if given) and the items ordered, so they can print the poster and hand it to the carrier. The carrier receives the delivery details for the same reason.
• PayPal processes your payment, whether you pay with a PayPal account or by card. What you enter on PayPal’s pages is governed by PayPal’s own privacy policy; we only receive confirmation that the payment went through.

Our hosting, email and analytics providers (Google, Microsoft) process data on our behalf. Beyond that, we share personal data only when the law requires it. Some of these partners operate outside your country, so your data may be processed abroad under the safeguards those providers apply.

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use them to:

• remember what’s in your cart while you browse;
• keep you signed in to your account;
• keep your wishlist in sync;
• understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited so we can improve the store.

For analytics we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They show us how visitors use the store — which pages are viewed, where people click and scroll, and which products are added to the cart and bought — as aggregated statistics and anonymised session replays. Text typed into forms is masked and not recorded. We don’t use advertising cookies.

If you visit from the EU, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set after you press “Accept” on the cookie banner; until then Google Analytics measures visits without cookies. To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will appear again. You can also opt out of Google Analytics everywhere with Google’s browser add-on.

PayPal sets its own cookies during checkout. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart, sign-in and checkout won’t work properly without the essential ones.

You can ask us at any time to:

• send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct anything that’s wrong or out of date;
• delete your account and personal data;
• stop sending you marketing email.

You can edit most of your details yourself in your account. We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California) you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
